Today we’re gonna discuss how to secure funding for a new entrepreneur. Starting anything can be a tough endeavor for anybody that’s coasting through uncharted waters.
I’m going to assist you with that process. The first step that we’re going to go over is considering a simple job.
Getting a job
Consider getting a job if you need some available startup capital for your entrepreneurial venture.
It might not be the most popular or agreeable thing to do, but it’ll hotwire a solution to have immediate funds to go where you want them to be.
Jobs are known for standing as an acronym for “Just over broke” and I personally believe it’s true— doesn’t mean we can’t have it serve as an advantage though.
Most people consider themselves a failure if they don’t jump out the gate with an established business, but it’s more the case if you don’t have the funds to launch.
I get it if you don’t feel that you’re getting paid enough to do the work now.
You have to increase value in your own way and doing so through allocating funds in more appropriate places.
Lock in an investor
Maybe you might need to secure an investor that’s willing to fund your new business— they could potentially be everything that you need to get going.
Investors can be anywhere! If there’s someone you’re aware of that has more money than you and is willing to give you a shot, why not inquire on if they’re interested in making their money back and more with you?
It ties in with having a pleasing personality for the right people. Maybe it seems a little capitalistic or opportunistic, but you have to do what’s best for your business early on.
Being someone that can charm a special person in particular could end up being a long-term strategic move since they’re going to be a partner that gives you the space you want.
Sometimes all you need is a cash cow that can provide the product to open your restaurant. (For lack of better terms)
Grant proposals as a resource
Being able to write a strong enough grant is another option for someone that’s needing a way to fund their business idea.
Grants are what you’re gonna find yourself having to apply for with scholarships and things alike when you decide to get involved with more costly activities.
There’s so many organizations and companies that have available funds ready to be given to ambitious people that have a character they deem deserving of money towards projects they care for.
Adopting a skill in being able to write your thoughts out effectively will be the thing that helps you stand out from competing candidates potentially.
Again, your character in who you were before asking about the money is what’s really gonna get your campaign sold.
Drop shipping with tried and proven results
Did you know that dropshipping is another way to possibly gather money for your goals as an entrepreneur?
It’s a money making method that I’ve tried before and it definitely works!
There’s simple steps you can take to create a digital storefront and paying customers trying to buy the items you’re presenting.
There’s so many platforms you could go with from eBay, Poshmark, or any platform that offers a direct to consumer experience.
I don’t usually like committing to a single skill with advice sharing, but because I’ve actually made money through the assistance of just watching a YouTube video, it’s valid.
Monetize an existing skill you got
Try monetizing a skill you have that could benefit another person willing to pay.
There’s platforms that’ll allow you to create a profile with portfolios that will attract visitors who’s interested in paying you for a service you’re willing to provide.
Fiverr, Task Rabbit, and platforms like those are absolutely wonders for someone that wants to present themselves in a professional manner.
They say when you put in over 10,000 hours for a specific skill or talent that you’re considered an expert at that point.
Experts get paid for their knowledge at that point, whether they’re showing how to apply it or doing it on behalf of someone willing to pay for that service.
A personal favorite platform that I’d recommend someone trying to organize a platform that they could casually invite anybody to find their service and pay for it without needing to sign up for social media or anything considered overly extra like that is going through the internet platform called Whop.
You’re getting an app with full support that just hosts things you’re gonna need do whatever client you secure— live video, group chats, sectioned off lessons to control the speed of learning, and much more!
