We’re gonna discuss my 10 effective time management tips.

10 Highly Effective Time Management Tips

As you can see, this is a personal listicle image I made that captures my belief on the best ways to approach time management.

First is treating time as if it’s a scoreboard for you and your polar opposite.

Treating Time as a Scoreboard

I see time as a scoreboard with opposition because it allows me to thrive and operate in a manner that lets me manage it effectively. Scoreboards let you know who’s winning— plain and simple. It can create urgency that either works in your favor or against you. It’s really ticking after you can properly read it and make adjustments adjacent to what it tells you.

Next is to focus on getting more quality out of each moment

Getting Quality Out of Each Moment

Another part to time management is getting more quality out of each moment. This ties in with the well known philosophy “quality over quantity”. Applying it to time is simple because it’s making the most of it. We can shift it to priority assessment. If you’re taking the most important things off your list to do, you become much more efficient with it. You’re gonna be able to have more wiggle room with what you’re able to do in time window.

This leads us to the next point in equaling out the playing field

Equaling Out The Playing Field

Equaling out the playing field in relation to time is a challenge. The challenge is doing everything you can to ensure that you’re not delaying anything and not allowing your opposition to stall either. It’s actually a value I was able to quickly appreciate thanks to being involved in sports— specifically wrestling.

Prioritize Organization as Preparation

Prioritizing organization as preparation is a form of time management because it’s optimizing your ability to be more efficient. Having everything in order smooths out your process. When you’re going through a cycle of repeated action, you’re eventually going to be analyzing your areas of improvement. In most cases, organization is one of the biggest areas to improve. It eliminates confusion— a huge time waster in many cases.

Making Things More Tangible

This is one of the concepts that I’m growing to appreciate more about making things more tangible. It’s focusing your energy more on things that involve more of your body. Stick with me here— ditch the over dependence on needing to be locked in on digital spaces. That can apply to even a social media manager. You can focus on growing digital spaces and such, but put more of your attention on things that involves keyboards and WiFi less. Technology Purists are gonna hate me, but trust me on this— you’re going to benefit greater from this adaptation. A further expansion on that example would go, instead of spending most of your time on replying to comments with your social media page, book more in-person seminars and events that’ll have you working with the likes of whiteboards, shaking hands, moving around a stage physically, etc. It’s more of an emphasis on the physical over the digital.
