I’m convinced your definition of having a pleasing personality is pretty simple. If action counts as social proof, hard workers are one of the best foundations to walk in with when discussing how to truly influence others.
Can an action count as social proof?
Not completely sure about this, but I’m leaning more towards action being a fleeting point of social proof for the public. There’s details such as having a pleasing personality to back up this claim, but ultimately it works with being able to appreciate simplicity to an effect.
Taking up the Action Habit
Taking action is a habit that supports just about any agenda you could think of. Many tend to overlook and underestimate the placement of taking action. It’s the first step to put it plain and simple. It’s what makes the difference between talking and doing.
It has to be checked and balanced to an extent though, because it’s commonly inaccurately estimated in thinking that something has to constantly be done in order to get results. To an extent that’s true, but there’s a threshold that limits where your productivity really comes from.
The Importance of Social Proof
Social proof is important because it’s a trust signal. Whether you’re trying to influence a group to take action, or make a sale, it’s something that always matters.
Look at what social proof means to marketing. It communicates that “you should listen to me” because of this reason. We see it constantly with many lifestyle coaches and even corporate giants too. It’s one of the dealbreakers for prospects when they’re looking to commit with a program. This includes things such as testimonials and even acquisitions that are desired by others too.
Pleasing Personality: the success quality that everybody can appreciate
I mention it being a quality of success that everybody can appreciate in pleasing personality, why do you think that is though?
Generally speaking, most people prefer someone that makes them feel special. That’s not to be confused with someone that just panders. This type of person knows how to customize their approach for just about any demographic that they’re aiming to charm.
Appreciating simplicity
Being able to appreciate simplicity is a value that feels reciprocated between both consumers and creators.
