I’ll be sharing 5 challenges that an entrepreneur may experience.
Challenges are something we all face in life.
The weight of this issue only seems to compound when adding your status as a new entrepreneur to the equation.
There’s plenty of people that have the desire to make the move towards becoming one, or even bringing someone else on board to assist them with the journey.
This is where being able to share what challenges they may face gives them a better idea of what to expect.
Let’s continue.
What Are 5 Challenges That May Be Experienced By A New Entrepreneur?
5 Challenges that a new entrepreneur may face are:
- Understanding the technology
- Initiating the sale
- Believing they’re worthy to do business
- Avoiding and deciding what time wasters are
- Committing to a business model that works for their style
Informing someone that’s on the cusp of becoming one of these scenarios will put their expectations in a reasonable position.
Understanding the technology behind the business

UNSW Sydney makes the claim that technological changes affect a business and I couldn’t agree any more.
This is a common thing that new entrepreneurs don’t even begin to grasp the concept, at least early on.
When a new product or service gets released, it really becomes a game changer.
It ends up affecting the way work gets done.
And in many cases that makes the difference in earning more than the next person.
What you have to understand is that most work in any industry is predictable.
You can guess exactly what your competitor is gonna do.
The thing that helps make the difference is usually a small tweak.
Whether it’s adding something that automates your process or anything to that effect, it adds to your versatility as an entrepreneur.
Learning how to initiate the sale

Initiating the sale is yet another challenge that entrepreneurs early in the game face.
There’s an issue I’ve been highly vocal about that relates to this, it’s: most entrepreneurs ask for the sale instead of demanding the buy.
It’s an attitude adjustment that you have to make here.
Your mindset has to be focused on a mentality that takes authority over the crowd you’re earning influence over.
There’s classes you can take in where professionals may share their methods when it comes to earning high ticket sales.
You can scale the process, but what I’ve found to be true is the fact the appearance of being busy tends to produce more business.
Same as how people say “the rich gets richer..” The busy gets more business one way or another.
It’s not my ideal way of earning commission, but the type of income you make isn’t as important as gathering at least early on.
I prefer affiliate marketing, but one thing is universally applicable here: exposure creates security.
Believing that you’re worthy to conduct business

Kayse Morris introduces the philosophy of believing that you can have a business and that only supports my same belief.
Believing you’re able to exist and operate as a business is an aspect of entrepreneurship that’s not talked about enough!
You’re never gonna be ready to do anything if you don’t believe it. It’s underrated of a quality if you ask me.
It’s important to remember this because it makes your learning curve when dealing with logistics much easier.
Always remember this: “Money doesn’t give you the attitude, attitude gets you the money.”
A direct cause of not believing you’re able to run a business of your own is because of lacking confidence. For most it’s a communication issue.
Addressing this issue might be best put as a prerequisite in observance. You’re not gonna get far without it!
Avoiding and deciding what your time wasters are

Deciding and choosing to avoid what your time wasters are helps with anything you decide to do in life.
You apply it to entrepreneurship and suddenly the stakes get raised way higher.
We’re talking about the thing that’s potentially gonna support your livelihood!
With that brings the challenge of getting the most out of your time.
There’s plenty of distractions that might do nothing but take you away from moments you could be spending in building your business.
The grander scheme of things here is acknowledging that your skill to master in this lesson is time management.
If it doesn’t serve you well, there shouldn’t be much time spent on it.
If you’re not there yet to where you can completely cut out whatever it is that’s eating your time away, maybe try minimizing at least.
Committing to a business model that compliments your style

Choosing the best business model that works for your company is a crucial step that should be emphasized on your start.
There’s several vehicles that could be used to power your business:
- Affiliate Marketing
- Network Marketing
- B2B
- B2C
The list goes on.
Picking the right business model is important because it’s going to be what compliments your style.
And as we should know with branding: style is everything!
This is something you should absolutely figure out before launching.
You have provided very useful information for all entrepreneurs, Adrian. One aspect of your article that interests me greatly is Initiating the Sale. Initiating the sale is definitely challenging for many businesses and entrepreneurs. It does involve an “attitude adjustment”, but often what is also important in the process is the relationship between the buyer and seller. Many times the authority and credibility of the seller is a factor whether the sale is made or not. Initiating the sale also goes beyond whether the potential buyer is “window shopping” or “kicking the tires”. It is crucial that the potential buyer has the “attitude” to buy, not just “look”. Thank you again for a very informative article.
Best wishes,
Kent
