I’ll be discussing how I personally define success today.

The definition seems to constantly change with the new ways that earning money emerges, and ways to leave your traditional 9-5 pops up.
But I’m putting more thought into this one here. This is a question that’s going to take more self reflection and observation of society than usual.
I’ll be doing my best today in helping define the way I view being successful.
How I personally define success today
I personally define success today by what you get the choice to do on the daily. Are you able to do the things that you truly wanna do? Are you restricted by time when you decide to engage? What do other people have to say about the person you are while choosing to live out your definition of success? Those are the type of questions I would consider in my defining of success.
How does my definition of success differ from how I defined it earlier in your career?
It’s changed because I’d argue that it started in junior high or high school.
So my expectations was to be a model student and athlete; performing at a high level in both.
Some years were better than others, but eventually that all stopped and I had to get a new identity.
Now my definition molds to whatever new activities I decide to be great at.
I’m not restricted by state exams or leagues that’s dependent on me attending classes. I’m living life without bumpers.
Success Definition FAQs and How Tos
How to personally define success
Personally defining success is a solely objective mission.
You get to where you can define it on your own terms after you get a chance to gain experience. You have to see things on your own:
- Discover what’s your definition of failure
- Find people that are doing things at a high level
- Meet others who approach life on the daily with eagerness and optimism
- Define the barrier that’s holding you back from doing what you can and what it is you actually want
All of it’s on your own terms. Most people aren’t even sure what their definition of success is because they don’t do enough self reflection.
That takes getting in tune with your preferences and meeting the demands of the people you love.
What are 5 words for success?
- Freedom
- Options
- Abundance
- Passion
- Legacy
Freedom is the first word because of what it represents. When you have freedom you’re able to do things without worry most of the time.
It’s living without restriction, and when you’re able to do that, it’s desirable on many levels.
Options is next because of what it provides. A person that has options again: isn’t restricted to a limit.
They can afford to have a contingency if something doesn’t work out. An option keeps potential opposition guessing.
And that’s a powerful situation to be in control of.
Abundance is added because it proves to be a generally desired thing. Whatever is acquired should be able to get gotten more than once.
If you’re able to not only gather something, but afford to share it or save it for the future, you’re looked at as a success.
Not having enough is a struggle for the middle class on down.
From there going on up, you’re seen as rich and able to afford whatever it is you want.
Passion is the next word for success because if you’re able to do so, it’s another level of leadership when you care about the thing of discussion.
You’re successful if you’re doing something you’re passionate about because that means you’re in a state of bliss.
You’re doing something you absolutely love, and that’s not something that everyone else can say they do.
Legacy is the last thing on the list because it indicates that you were successful in what you did. You’re worthy of being remembered.
Your legacy is reflective on proving you did your activity at a high level.
One of the best examples of this is hall of fames or things similar to that effect.
There’s not much debate on if you were at any point a success in your chosen field.
