How do I choose a niche without boxing myself in too early? (279 Word Response)

The best way to go about choosing a niche without boxing yourself in too early here is through Wealthy Affiliate!

Final Thoughts

Let’s say you’re still overly skeptical about WA.

That’s okay because there’s other ways to build a brand.

To avoid getting boxed in with an overly specific niche, it’ll be strategic to chunk up and chuck down.

For those not too familiar with that process, it’s starting at universal or more broad point and condense the focus as you progress.

That works the other way around too. If you feel too boxed in, that’s where challenging your depth of vision comes into play.

In this case it’s seeing things outside of where you’re at currently.

It’s similar to that quote which goes I’m not at where I’m going (verbatim).

It won’t hurt to share where you’re at when launching, even if it doesn’t feel 100% in alignment with your brand idea.

It’ll actually pay off in the long run to be more transparent in this case.

A brand’s birth shouldn’t be at full potential off the rip.

It won’t hurt to be that accurate so early on, but it’s not likely either.

Keeping a growth mindset in this right allows you to be content with presenting yourself as you are.

Why you don’t need a Niche

Having a niche isn’t absolutely necessary when building.

It’s arguably one of the most magnetic things that come with just having a presence.

There’s actually plenty of leaders in the world that started off without doing much of anything.

They would work, but they weren’t defined by their actions.

Being niched is simply having a reputation for your actions.

  1. Thank you for writing this helpful article on choosing a niche without boxing myself in too early. Many times we do rush into choosing a niche that might not be the perfect  choice for us. I have done that many times in the past when I first started out, but once I became a member of Wealthy Affiliate that all changed.

Even now as a successful affiliate marketer, I am still an active member of Wealthy Affiliate. The best part is everything we need is provided on this platfom for us,and no matter how experienced you become you will just keep learning as a member of this amazing community.

    • I appreciate all the kind words. If I can contribute in any way to killing lethargic behavior, I consider that a personal win. As much I like being told I’m smart, I take even greater pride in having the reputation of being someone that can think creatively, That’s probably the most important quality that anyone who has hopes of being a creative should strive for!
